1. Joining BGEN
Anyone is welcome to join BGEN, though as a support network, those likely to gain the most benefit are professional biodiversity educators within the UK.

We have over 200 members. Most are educators in botanic gardens and other centres of environmental education within Britain and Ireland.

Annual membership fees (calendar year, January to December):

Individual membership £ 20 £ 28
Institutional membershipLevel 1 (up to six members) £ 100 £ 115
Institutional membership Level 2 (up to twelve members) £ 200 £ 215

N.B. large organisations who wish to have more than 12 members can take out more than one organisational/individual membership.

5. Membership criteria and benefits
Named members are:

Organisational members
All staff (paid staff or volunteers) at your organisation are entitled to attend events at the member’s rate, whether named as BGEN members or not.

N.B. Staff from organisations who are members of PlantNetwork are also entitled to attend events at the member’s rate
Where only individual membership is held by a member(s) of the organisation, other colleagues pay the non-member’s rate to attend training days.
