The Science Festival Lead will produce and deliver the annual Science Festival in both Kew Gardens and Wakehurst. They will work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to create an outstanding and integrated Science Festival, providing visitors with enjoyable and memorable experiences and a greater understanding of Kew’s scientific work.
We are looking for someone with experience in producing and delivering science festivals; excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, motivate and empower others and proven interest in plant and fungal science.
The salary is £36,270 per annum. The post-holder will work on an ‘annualised hours’ basis according to the needs of the business, typically working full time hours from May to August and part time from September to April, averaging 21.5 hours per week.
