Have you got great ideas for new projects but need help making them reality? Join us for this exciting training opportunity aimed at public engagement professionals from botanic gardens, other museums and natural heritage organisations.
This bgen event brings together both the funder’s and the fundraisers’ perspective. Representatives from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and London Wildlife Trust development teams will share their expertise on grant giving opportunities and successful strategies for securing funds to forward your fundraising thinking and practice.
Through a combination of interactive workshop, presentations, Q&As and a fundraising surgery, you will get information on the National Lottery Heritage Fund new strategic framework and funding structure.
There will also be a wealth of tips on how to prioritise fundraising needs and write successful applications. You will also have the opportunity to bring your project idea and get advice from the presenters and your peers on how to raise money to make it happen.
This training day is also to relevant professional fundraisers and will provide a unique opportunity to gain information about raising funds. There will also be time to network.
