bgen Annual Conference 2019: Securing Our Future

bgen is celebrating its 30 year anniversary this year with its annual Conference taking place at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. Kew’s collection of living plants, both outside and in the glasshouses, is the largest and most diverse in the world. It is also a global resource for plant and fungal knowledge with the core purpose of Kew’s science stemming from the simple truth that all life depends on plants and fungi.
This year’s conference theme ‘Securing Our Future’ is based around the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

‘The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.’
Delegates will have the opportunity to consider how they are already doing to deliver the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on their own sites and gain confidence to further incorporate SDG messages and goals in their work.
