The Botanic Gardens Education Network (BGEN) brings together plant and environmental educators from botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos, parks and outdoor learning organisations across the UK, Ireland and beyond.

 

Our members share a passion for connecting people with plants, biodiversity and the natural world through education.

 

With over 300 members across more than 40 organisations, BGEN provides a supportive community where educators can learn from one another, share ideas and develop their professional skills.

A Growing Programme of Events. . .

BGEN delivers a programme of online and in-person events throughout the year, including training sessions, networking events and conferences. Many of these events are free or discounted for members, making membership excellent value for individuals and organisations. Our programme continues to grow each year, providing more opportunities for members to learn, connect and share expertise.
