Individual £40/year
For free-lance plant educators, volunteers, or anyone with an interest in plant and environmental education, who is not employed by an organisation relevant to their BGEN membership.
Ideal for individuals who wish to attend BGEN events, access resources and connect with the plant education community.
Student £18/year
For students currently studying in a related field.
Student membership provides access to BGEN events, resources and networking opportunities at a reduced rate.
Organisation
For botanic gardens, arboreta, zoos and related organisations.
Organisational membership allows multiple staff members within your organisation to benefit from BGEN membership, including discounted event tickets, professional development opportunities and networking.
Volunteers and interns within your organisation can also be included.
Your organisation’s membership tier is based on how many staff members will actively use BGEN membership benefits.

Which Organisational Tier Should We Choose?
Choose a tier based on how many people in your organisation will actively use BGEN membership, such as staff who:
– attend BGEN training events
– participate in online networking sessions
– access member resources
– take part in conferences or workshops
You can update the staff members linked to your organisational membership during the year, so the same individuals do not need to remain members throughout the year.
Please note
Memberships are not transferrable between different individuals in your team for different events.

Can we change which staff use the membership during the year?
Yes. You can update the staff members linked to your organisational membership during the year, or remove those who no longer work at your organisation.
Are volunteers or interns included?
Yes. Volunteers and interns from your organisation can also be included within your organisational membership.
Do members receive discounted events?
Yes. Many Bgen events are free or offered at a discounted rate for members, providing excellent value for individuals and organisations.
