Helen Miller (Vice Chair)
Head of Education and Vocational Training, BGCI
Helen joined BGCI as Head of Education and Vocational Training in January 2017 and leads BGCI’s public engagement work, she also coordinates BGCI’s International Congresses on Education in Botanic Gardens and is the editor of the BGCI Education Journal Roots.
Prior to working at BGCI Helen worked for another conservation charity managing conservation projects, overseeing the training department and leading on woodland policy. Helen has a degree in Zoology from the University of Wales Aberystwyth and an MSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Napier University, Edinburgh. Helen is currently on maternity leave.
